Roadtrip to the Banff International Film Festival
A new adverture for ArtCetera! We began with a networking wine and hors d'oeuvres reception in Chagrin Falls at Geiger's Ski and Sport Haus then travelled to Banff's Allen Theatre for their High Altitude Party. The party was great fun as we were treated to many perks and an awesome live performance by Frankie Starr.

Guinness & Glass IV
Each year, we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a frosty glass of Ireland’s best, tasty hors d’oeuvres, and glassblowing demonstrations. This year is no exception! Plus, the demonstration glass piece that is created during our event will be raffled off to one lucky attendee!

Frida Kahlo For a Day: An Interactive Art Experience
ArtCetera members and guest met Frida Kahlo (a.k.a. local artist Anitra Redlefsen) and experienced her life and her art through a hands-on, interactive live demonstration. We even tried some yummy authentic dishes from recipes straight out of Frida's own personal cookbook!

Inside the Music of the Akron Symphony Orchestra: Dinner and Rehearsal with the Musicians
ArtCetera members met ASO Music Director Christopher Wilkins to learn the history and story of La Traviata. Then members joined musicians on stage for an up-close experience during their rehearsal.

ArtCetera learned about the past, present and future of the Akron Art Museum from Arnie Tunstall, Museum Registrar, when law firm Brennan, Manna & Diamond, LLC, played host to our group.

Huzzah! - A progressive party celebrating the 15th anniversary of Akron Area Arts Alliance
ArtCetera hosted a champagne dessert reception at Huzzah! The dessert was generously donated by Totally Cooked Catering, and the champagne was provided by West Point Market.

Culture @ Kent
ArtCetera toured the WKSU Studios with the station's staff, and got to try out the equipment for ourselves! We headed to the Bistro on Main for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres before calling it a night.

First Friday! @ Summit ArtSpace
ArtCetera's monthly happy hour in 2006 was a big hit! April's event featured the second annual juried show- FRESH art in Summit ArtSpace's gallery, as well as orange attire, great food, and drinks.

First Friday! Kick-off @ Summit ArtSpace
Happy hour has never been better! More than 50 of Akron's Young Professionals gathered at Summit Artspace for the Red Hot Kick-Off of ArtCetera's First Friday! events. Guests were encouraged to wear red, eat, drink, and network. The Bang and The Clatter Theatre Company's director, Sean McConaha, was on hand to give a private tour of the newly renovated theater on the second floor.

Tango Meets Techno @ Summit ArtSpace
Local young professionals learned to dance to a unique mix of Agentinean Tango/techno music. After enjoying Argentinean cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, Greg Messina of Northeast Ohio Tango explained the history of the dance and demonstrated various techniques. Then the group was shown basic steps and got the chance to show off their new dancing skills.

Painting Like Pollock @ Summit ArtSpace
Nearly 40 young professionals attended ArtCetera's Jackson Pollock Party. After cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, Jackson Pollock and his wife Lee Krasner (a.k.a local artists Dain and Anitra Redlefsen) demonstrated Pollock's splash painting technique and then let attendees go crazy and paint like Pollock on their own.
